Your support allows us to do what we do
Our work is rewarding and we are proud of our results. But we are a small, hard-working team, and we are so grateful for all of our supporters. Your donation will directly impact young, marginalized young people across Canada. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

For donations made out to Get REAL via cheque, 100% of the funds will go towards our programming.
For direct donations to Get REAL made via cheque, please inquire for mailing address and cheque details!
For donations to Get REAL made via e-transfer, 100% of the funds will go towards our programming.
Please send e-transfers to joingetreal@gmail.com, with the password “getreal”.
(Visa and major credit cards):
For donations made via credit card through DonorBox, 94.8% of funds will go to our programming, with 5.2% removed as a processing fee.

For donations requiring a charitable tax receipt, made through our charitable trustee Sketch Working Arts 90% of the funds will go to our programming, with 10% removed as an administrative fee by Sketch.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
Because we are not a charity ourselves (we are a Canadian non-profit organization, #813423-5), we are not able to issue a charitable tax receipt for direct donations to Get REAL (although we can offer a written receipt that confirms the funds were received, if needed).
Some individuals prefer to receive a charitable tax receipt for their donation, and some of the family foundations, granting platforms, and corporate partners we work with require one. In such cases, we encourage donors to make their donations through Sketch Working Arts, by following the instructions above. Sketch is a registered charity (CRA # 859128332) and Get REAL is a vetted partner on their shared platform, which means that we can access those funds for certain programming costs, and a charitable receipt will be made available to the donor from Sketch.
