Get REAL Inc. (“Get REAL”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information in our custody and control. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information in the course of providing Get REAL Movement programs (the “Programs”), including the website located at https://www.thegetrealmovement.com (the “Main Website”) and our merchandise store website located at https://wegetreal.ca (the “Merchandise Website”).

Collection and Use of Personal Information

Contact Information

To provide our Programs, including but not limited to University Chapters, Workshops, After-School Programs, Summits, Events, the Main Website, and the Merchandise Website, we may need to collect your contact information, including your first and last name, telephone number, email address, mailing address, or other general information. This contact information is only collected as provided to us and for the provision of our Programs. 

Donor Information

The Main Website’s Donation Page (https://www.thegetrealmovement.com/donate) collects personal information related to donation payments, as provided to us, including your first name and last name, email address, and payment information through a third party service provider to process donations. 

Merchandise Order Information

The Merchandise Website collects personal information for merchandise orders, as provided to us, including first and last name, telephone number, email address, mailing address and payment information through a third party service provider to process payments and orders.

We may collect other information that you choose to provide to us, or that we collect with your consent.

Information We Collect Automatically

We use data collection tools to automatically collect information when individuals visit our Main Website and Merchandise Website. We use technologies like cookies and pixel tags to provide, monitor, analyze, promote and improve the Main Website and Merchandise Website. You can block cookies on your web browser; however please be aware that some features of the Site may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.

Device Identifiers

When you access the Site using a mobile device, we collect specific device information contained in your mobile device’s “device identifier”. This device identifier includes information such as the type of device you are using, its operating system, and mobile network information, which may include your mobile phone number. 

Analytics
We may use third party service providers like Google Analytics to collect information about your use of the Site, such as the features used and time spent on the Site, to help us better understand our users and improve our Site. The information we gather is used in an aggregate, non-identifiable form. Social Media

We may offer you the opportunity to engage with our Main Website on or through third-party social networking websites, plug-ins and applications. When you engage with us or our content on or through third-party social networking websites, plug-ins and applications, you may allow us to have access to certain information associated with your social media account (e.g., name, username, email address, profile picture, gender). We may use this information to personalize your experience on the Main Website and on the third-party social networking websites, plug-ins and applications, and to provide you with other information you may request.

Safeguards

We protect personal information using safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
