BLACK STORIES, VOICES AND EQUITY IN FILM
A hub to share insight, tips and inspire Black Creative youth
With the support of the Government of Canada’s Department of Heritage, we have developed a series of free workshops that bring the values of community, creativity, and courage, directly to the film industry - because we recognize that film has the power to shape culture!
These workshops are great for film professions, film schools, as well as film festivals and organizations!

Our Black Film Festival is a virtual space open to everyone 19+ to watch impactful Black films in a free, virtual setting that is structured, educational, accessible and fun!
We have screened a variety of docu/drama, feature films and shorts films! On the third night after the film screenings we host a virtual panel with filmmakers from the films screened during the week, where have been able to learn the insights of the films, advice on the film industry and much more!
Our Black Film Festival 2027 will take place virtual in February 2027!
