Born This Way Summit
Our annual Born This Way Summit brings together passionate, creative young people with big ideas about combatting 2SLGBTQ+ discrimination and bullying through educational and creative means. Our summits focus on creating safe and stimulating spaces for participants to brainstorm meaningful advocacy campaigns, and attend inspiring panels, keynotes, and workshops.

Black Creative Summit
Our annual Black Creative Summit brings together passionate, creatives young people with big ideas about combatting anti-Black racism through educational and creative means. Our summits focus on creating safe and stimulating spaces for participants to brainstorm and develop meaningful advocacy campaigns, and attend inspiring panels, keynotes, and workshops.

Steps of Hope
Steps of Hope is our new in-person speaker series! Steps of Hope is the evolution of Steps of Strength and Steps of Pride, which brings forward keynotes focused on celebrating inspiring people fighting against 2SLGBTQ+ discrimination, racism and racial barriers, and pushing for social change and support for marginalized communities.

Our Facilitator Summit brings together all of our speakers each year to share learnings, develop workshop content, and review best practices for our largest program!

The Rainbow Road Virtual 5K is an annual, virtual fundraiser to support both Get REAL and the Rainbow Railroad.

Second Act Actors goes LIVE to celebrate 200 episodes of the award-winning podcast. Host Dr. Janet McMordie brings her signature wit, warmth, and curiosity to the stage for an unforgettable live episode recording.

Our annual Born This Way Summit has been around for several years now and each year we are excited to bring together, new and recurring, creative young people who are passionate about combatting 2SLGBTQ+ discrimination and bullying through educational and creative means. These summits have sparked many different campaigns and initiatives that continue to make Get REAL what it is today.
Black Creative Summit
Our annual Black Creative Summit was first held in 2020, we are so excited to continue to make this a yearly event. We’re excited to bring together creative young people who are passionate about combatting anti-Black racism to amplify their voices and the people around them. Through this summit we have opened up amazing conversations and brought to light our advocacy campaigns such as Black History Matters.

Our Facilitator Summit brings together all our speakers to review best practices, share ideas and thoughts on workshop content to set the tone for the new school year!

A celebration on a boat full of good vibes, and amazing people. Pride on a Boat includes buffet dinner and a drag show on the water, sailing on the beautiful Empire Sandy. Don’t miss our annual event! June 26th, 2025!

Love Wins Charity Golf Tournament
Love Wins is a charity golf tournament to fund our support of 2SLGBTQ+ youth and allies in schools across the country. Love Wins is 9 holes of golf and dinner at Lionhead Golf Course in Brampton, Ontario. Come join the fun & support the cause!
