Do you offer in-person and virtual workshops?
In-person we currently offer: 2SLGBTQ+ Inclusivity, Trans 101, Combatting Anti-Black Racism, Black History, Social Media Literacy, The Ace Compeers, and G.S.A workshops.
Virtually we currently offer all our school workshops!
What ages do you facilitate for?
How long are the workshops?
For students workshops are 1-hour long.
For our educator/caregiver workshops they vary from 1-hour to 1.5 hours.
Our workshop are broken down into groups to ensure age-appropriate information is being delivered.
Our workshops groupings are:
• Grade 4-6
• Grade 7-9
• Grade 10- 12
• Adult workshops which are broken down into Educators, and Caregivers.
Do you record your workshops?
No, we do not record school workshops under any circumstances.
Schools will receive a number of additional resources, including a version of the slidedeck, Pre-Workshop Activity Guide, Curriculum Pieces, Debrief Guide, and Answering Student FAQs, which can be used to continue the conversation.
Are your workshops inline with the curriculum?
How far in advance do I have to book the workshop?
Contact us! We can workout a time that works best. We usually book up quickly so the earlier you connect with us the better chance you have in getting the time frame you are seeking!
What's the max amount of students you facilitate to at once?
In-person 60 -100 students is recommended for an optimal experience, but we can accommodate larger groups, up to 200-250, upon request.
Virtually We are flexible when it comes to group size for virtual engagements. Staff will project the presentation to the front of their respective classrooms and/or space and students will have the option of joining from home.
Our workshop content aligns with current provincial curriculums by supporting key competencies such as critical thinking and social-emotional learning. Designed with inclusive education strategies and interdisciplinary learning in mind, it reflects diverse perspectives and fosters equitable learning environments
Do you offer pre-workshop and post-workshop resources?
Yes, every workshop includes pre-workshop activities, curriculum pieces, a debrief guide, FAQs, and additional resources.
After every workshop we survey educators in order to gain feedback and constantly improve. We also offer follow up workshops for students, as well as workshops for staff and parents/caregivers. We believe the messaging and change goes well beyond the first initial workshop with Get REAL.

Through our Online Modules, we offer our 2SLGBTQ Inclusivity, Trans 101, Combatting Anti-Black Racism, Black History, 2SLGBTQ+ History, and Introduction to Land Acknowledgment.

How long are the workshops?
Corporate workshops can rang between 1-1.5 hours in length.
For Corporate workshops recordings can be made for an additional cost Recordings are uploaded to our E-learning site and can be used for up to 6 months afterwards.
This feature is available for virtual workshops only. If you’re looking for a more long-term solution please reach out to explore our video module option.

Contact us! We can workout a time that works best. We often book up quickly during acknowledge significant months or days such as Pride Month (June), Black History Month (February), Transgender Day of Visibility (March), etc., so the earlier you connect with us the better chance you have in getting the time frame you are seeking!
Our workshops are offered at any time of the year to encourage proactive engagement and/or continued learning in your efforts to create a more inclusive and affirming workplace.
What’s the difference between virtual workshops and online modules?
Our virtual workshops are live but in a virtual setting.
Our online modules are pre-recorded, self-paced, videos that have been broken down into chapters and quizzes. These are ideal for on-boarding, high turnover, multiple employees in different time-zones, etc.
What's the max amount of students you facilitate to at once?
In-person 60 -100 participants is recommended for an optimal experience, but we can accommodate larger groups, up to 200-250, upon request.
Virtually We are flexible when it comes to group size for virtual engagements. However, if each individual is logging on 200 participants is the max.
Online Modules: We currently don’t have a max capacity of enrolments!
Do you offer post-workshop resource/ further engagement opportunities?
Yes, we offer further learning resources with all our workshops.
We also tailor our employee engagement opportunities to fit each company’s goals and needs, whether that’s providing volunteer opportunities for staff, sponsoring events, creating custom merchandise, and much more! Ask us about employee engagement and partnership opportunities!
